Junior Achievement programs are delivered free-of-charge to students by volunteers from the business community. This is possible only with the generous financial contributions and involvement of organizations and individuals like yourself. Unfortunately, the demand for JA is far greater than we are currently able to provide. Each year, an increasing number of educators ask us for our programs. As a result, strive to increase the number of classrooms reached, but we can't do it without your help.

 

You can help us reach more kids with the exciting messages of free enterprise and opportunity! With a major credit card, you can donate today - right from your computer. 1. Gifts of Cash

 

Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta needs your support. Each donation assists our organization in delivering programs that partner the education and business communities in helping student’s set goals, stay in school and pursue their dreams.

 

 

2. Wills and Bequests

 

A future gift made through your Will can support the organization beyond your lifetime to ensure and enhance Junior Achievement’s future in delivering service – a lasting testimonial of your care and commitment.

 

 

3. Life Insurance

 

A gift of Life Insurance can allow you to make a more substantial donation to Junior Achievement then you thought you could afford, without taking on a large expense. Choosing this gift option provides benefits to you and Junior Achievement. You will receive a tax receipt annually for the premiums you pay and JA is ensured of future capital and income to achieve its long term goals.

 

 

4. Gifts of Securities

 

Your gift of Securities or Mutual Funds support our many programs at Junior Achievement while providing you with a tax receipt for the market value of the gift on the day the securities are deposited into to the Junior Achievement account. Thanks to recent changes to the Income Tax Act announced in the 2006 Federal Government budget you can now donate publicly traded securities or mutual funds without incurring the Capital Gains Tax.
